“We’ve been producing and selling fresh mussels, shrimp and oysters from picturesque Yerseke since 1942, making us one of Europe’s biggest market players. Our Zeeland’s Roem oysters used to be sold in woven baskets with a big plastic label: not very attractive, and not exactly sustainable. Together with us, BTM designed new sustainable plywood packaging
where the different types of oysters tell their own story but still clearly form one attractive family. We were all really happy with the results: more shelf space for wholesalers in Food Service, attractive settings and displays in restaurants, a packaging award and much higher sales after the first year.”
